Welcome to our SLP space for career advancement! I am your SLP career coach, April Brown-Bell owner of The Success Authority, LLC, a career and life coach for SLPs. During my years in the profession, I have been able to successfully coach SLPs, interns/CFs, licensed assistants and SLP students about a variety of issues and concerns. Because every workplace is different, I work specifically with your unique situation. I coach SLPs across the U.S. and beyond via in-office appointments, phone, email, text, mail, and other agreed upon coaching.
Everyone has a different concern, but the most common heard concerns relate to: 1) a director/administrator makes a therapist feel non-existent on the team, 2) excessive caseloads in the schools, 3) feelings of isolation for therapists who are the only SLP in the building, 4) difficulty transitioning between settings/companies, and 5) Interns/CFs/licensed assistants who are in a difficult supervisory relationship.
